THE VALUES THAT DRIVE GROWTH: Vesselina Andreeva, COO
1. Can you share a bit about your professional background and career journey?
I’ve had the opportunity to be part of the growth journeys of several leading companies in the industry, navigating complex challenges and scaling operations in dynamic environments. These experiences have shaped me both professionally and personally. I thrive in fast-paced settings that demand adaptability, strategic thinking, and continuous improvement.
2. With your experience across some of the industry's leading companies, what excites you most about helping a fast-growing business like INSTASOFT scale?
I was immediately attracted to INSTASOFT’s ambition, speed and bold vision. The company’s drive to innovate and grow aligns with my own mindset. I’m excited to contribute to its expansion and turn the ambitious plans into reality.
After years in a large organization, I reached a point where I was craving more ownership and direct impact.
Big companies teach you scale, structure, and process excellence. Startups teach you speed, ownership, and courage. I was drawn to the opportunity to build - not just manage. To shape strategy in real time, influence culture from the inside and contribute directly to the company’s trajectory and future. When I looked at INSTASOFT's product and vision, I knew this was the right move at the right time.
3. When growing a company, what matters more to you – experience or mindset?
For me, mindset always comes before skillset.
Skills can be developed but loyalty, inner drive, accountability and ownership - are part of our values.
When building a team, I look for people who think beyond their job description; who are comfortable with change; who take responsibility; who are not waiting for instructions and people who can see the big picture.
It is not easy to find such profiles, however, I believe that similarities attract each other. In a fast-growing company, collaboration and emotional intelligence are crucial just as much as technical expertise.
To build a strong team requires alignment around a shared vision and values.
4. What drives you on a daily basis and keeps you motivated to deliver at a high level?
I’m motivated by impact - seeing things happen.
Every new product launched, a team built or a client satisfied - is incredibly exciting for me.
I know that every day, every decision that I take lays the foundation for the company’s shape tomorrow - and this definitely keeps me alert and intentional. Fast-moving days don’t overwhelm me - they activate me. When there’s pressure, I become sharper and more focused.
On a personal level, I deeply believe in continuous growth and I actively invest in it. I constantly challenge myself to become more self-aware, to step outside my comfort zone, to think beyond my current limits. For me, growth is not just about achieving results — it’s about understanding myself better, managing my energy, learning from mistakes, and becoming more grounded and balanced - so I can balance that back at the office. I believe that the more aligned and conscious I am as a person, the stronger and more supportive I can be as a leader.
5. How do you prioritize when everything feels urgent in a fast-moving environment?
The first thing I do is zoom out. Only then I can see what truly matters and requires our focus at this very moment.
Also, I believe that structure and transparency enable speed and not the opposite. So I try creating them on a daily basis and when things become tight - I can see more clearly where to put my efforts and how to navigate through it.
And often, leadership means having the courage to say “not now” so the organization can focus on what truly matters and support our long-term vision.
