NO MIDDLEMEN, FASTER PAYOUTS, ZERO EXTRA FEES. WHY INSTASOFT BUILT ITS OWN CRYPTO INFRASTRUCTURE?

Crypto payments have become one of the defining conversations in iGaming heading into 2026 — faster settlements, borderless access, and a payment experience players increasingly expect as standard. But while most platform providers simply plug operators into an external crypto processor, INSTASOFT took a different route: building the entire crypto infrastructure in-house.

We sat down with Velizar, who leads payments at INSTASOFT, to talk about why that decision matters — and what it actually means for operators on the ground.

Why Build It In-House?

Many platforms rely on third parties to process crypto payments. INSTASOFT has its own, in-house crypto infrastructure, with no external processor. Why is this such an important decision, and what do operators gain from it?

"Building our crypto infrastructure in-house gives Instasoft and its operators full control over the entire payment flow," Velizar explains. "We are not dependent on an external processor's technical limitations, pricing model, availability, or development roadmap."

That control translates directly into operator benefits: greater transparency, faster transaction management, and more flexible configurations. Operators get direct oversight of deposits, withdrawals, supported networks, wallets, limits, and transaction monitoring — with crypto payments fully integrated into the platform's Back Office, risk-management tools, KYC processes, and reporting systems, rather than sitting in a separate, disconnected system.

No Third Party, No Extra Fees

Since there's no third party involved, does that mean operators and players avoid extra fees on crypto transactions? How does this affect operator costs compared to typical crypto payment solutions on the market?

"Yes — removing an external crypto processor means operators avoid the additional processing and service fees normally charged by intermediaries," says Velizar.

Blockchain network fees still apply, since they're inherent to the blockchain itself, but there's no added processing layer stacking on transaction fees, settlement fees, withdrawal fees, or percentage-based charges.

The result is a meaningful reduction in the overall cost per transaction, along with clearer visibility over expenses — allowing operators to pass a more cost-efficient crypto experience on to their players.

Built for the Wallets Players Already Trust

INSTASOFT supports popular wallets like MetaMask and others. How easy is it for a player to connect their wallet and start depositing, and why does that compatibility matter for the overall user experience?

Simplicity is the whole point. A player selects the crypto deposit option, connects a supported wallet such as MetaMask, chooses the cryptocurrency and network, and confirms the transaction directly through the wallet — no separate payment provider registration, no unfamiliar external checkout.

"Supporting popular wallets is essential because crypto users already know and trust these tools," Velizar notes. "The easier and more familiar the deposit process is, the less friction there is for the player." Less friction means fewer abandoned deposits — and better conversion rates for operators.

More Than Just the "Major" Coins

How broad is the range of supported cryptocurrencies on Instasoft, and why did you decide not to limit operators to just a handful of "major" coins?

INSTASOFT supports a broad range of cryptocurrencies, tokens, and blockchain networks, by design.

"Different markets and player groups have different preferences," Velizar explains. "Some players prefer stablecoins, while others use specific networks because of their speed, lower transaction costs, or wallet compatibility."

That flexibility lets operators tailor their crypto offering to the markets they serve, respond to real player demand, and expand their payment options without needing a fresh integration every time a new asset becomes relevant.

Faster Withdrawals, Without the Waiting Game

One of the most common player complaints is slow withdrawals. How does INSTASOFT's in-house crypto infrastructure speed up the payout process compared to standard methods — whether fiat or crypto through a third party?

"Because the infrastructure is managed entirely internally, operators aren't waiting on an external processor to review, approve, or release a transaction. "The withdrawal can be reviewed, approved, and processed directly through the INSTASOFT platform," says Velizar.

Everything — player account, wallet address, transaction status, network, compliance checks, and payment history — lives in the same operational environment.

That removes unnecessary communication and processing layers. Once an operator completes the required KYC, risk, and compliance checks, the payment goes straight to the blockchain. Compared to traditional fiat methods, which often involve banks, processors, and settlement windows, crypto withdrawals through INSTASOFT can be completed significantly faster.

A Real Competitive Advantage

Do you see INSTASOFT's proprietary crypto infrastructure as one of the strongest competitive advantages over other platform providers? Why?

"Yes, absolutely," Velizar says. "We see our proprietary Web3 and crypto-management infrastructure as one of INSTASOFT's strongest competitive advantages."

Where many platform providers simply connect operators to an external crypto processor, INSTASOFT provides the actual infrastructure and management functionality as part of its own platform — giving operators more control, lower operational costs, faster payments, broader cryptocurrency support, better reporting, and greater flexibility in how they configure their crypto offering.

"Most importantly," Velizar adds, "we can continue developing and improving the functionality based on the real needs of our operators, without being limited by the capabilities or priorities of an external provider."
